Rachael came to broadcasting from a background in sound engineering and stage management in music before joining the RaceSpot TV team in 2014. Originally from Lancashire, she moved to Sheffield in the United Kingdom in 2006 where she attended the University of Sheffield to study for her degree.
An avid motorsports fan and gamer from a young age, Rachael began her sim-racing career in Grand Prix Legends and F1 2000 before progressing to GTR and TOCA-Race Driver. After university, Rachael returned to racing games in the form of the Codemasters F1 series before joining the iRacing service in January 2014 where she still actively races alongside her broadcast commitments.
Primarily an oval track specialist, she can often also be found behind the wheel most of iRacing’s compliment of series, from Late Models, to NASCAR Sprint Cup stock cars. Her road racing experience stems largely from V8 super cars and IndyCar competition, although she has an unusual affinity for racing stock cars on road courses.
Beginning her broadcasting on iRacing with BSRTV covering the UK&I Skip Barber Racing School Series, she joined MW Productions in the United States to cover NASCAR racing. Since joining RaceSpot TV, she has been involved in numerous projects and series spanning the length and breadth of the iRacing service including losing sleep during the very first 24 hour endurance race in iRacing history: The RaceSpot TV 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps in 2014.
Currently, Rachael commentates on the UK&I Skip Barber Series, the NEO Endurance Series and the iRacing World Championship Grand Prix Series.
